Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between satisfaction with university life, interpersonal health, physical health and internet game addiction of university student, and to identify factors influencing internet game addiction.. The subjects were 220 university students attending S University. Data collection was collected from August to September, 2017 as structured questionnaire. Data analysis was performed the mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé test and multiple regression analysis to determine the factors influencing internet game addiction. The results showed that factors influencing internet game addiction of university students were gender, interpersonal health, physical health and gender had the greatest influence. In other words, the more males, the better the interpersonal health, the worse the physical health, the higher the game addiction pattern. Therefore, it is necessary to plan and implement a counseling program that can facilitate interpersonal health and a program and hobbies to maintain physical health, centering on male college students, as a social problem to prevent and treat Internet game addiction of university students will be.
